It Indemnifies coaches / senseis / trainers and your fitness business or organisation (Martial Arts Schools / Gyms) by providing cover for protection against claims for property damage, financial loss, or bodily / personal injury arising from an act, error or omission in the operators duties. In the case of the martial arts and fitness industries , most businesses combine the public liability with professional indemnity to have a more complete cover for your business.
Fitness / Health Clubs Fitness Studios and Gyms can obtain both the general operations insurances such as – public, products, management and civil (professional indemnity) with their property, contents, glass, burglary and business interruption.
Some Gyms have actually incorporated martial arts classes and other activities (not just group fitness elements) which have created some confusion in whether they are covered. The martial arts section has either not been covered at all, or owners have had to source a second policy specifically for it. If the gym can segregate the martial arts classes under a separate membership and specific location, it can work with a separate policy. There are however grey areas in coverage with gym members dropping into martial arts classes, but this can be all eliminated with one unique combined policy that we can source for you.
